Large Martin Boyd ashtray. Item 4679.Larger than most Martin Boyd ashtrays, this one measures 210 mm in diameter and stands 60 mm high. The centre is decorated with a nicely painted scene of a young boy fishing from some rocks, and in a nice touch the rim features 3 painted fishing lures. The base is incised with”Martin Boyd Australia”. It is in excellent condition and would date from around 1950.
